Privacy Policy

Short version: we don't collect personal information.

What we collect

WhereItsSunny is a static website. We don't require accounts, we don't ask for your email, and we don't run trackers that identify individual visitors.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (which pages get visited, roughly which country visitors come from). Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first: it doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint visitors, and doesn't track you across sites. The data we see is anonymous and aggregated.

Cookies

We store one browser preference locally: your units toggle (metric vs. imperial). This is stored in your browser's localStorage, not sent to any server, and used solely to remember your choice between visits.

Third-party content

The site is served from Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log basic request information (IP address, user agent) for a short window for abuse prevention, perCloudflare's own privacy policy. If we later add advertising, this page will be updated with the specifics.
